Dance Central’s Company team consists of dancers (Kindergarten and up) who want to take their skills to the next level. Dancers are able to compete in several types of dance, including jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, contemporary and lyrical. Instructors spend specialized time choreographing for and rehearsing the dancers each week. The Company team performs at local events, attends 3 to 4 competitions a year, and has the opportunity to participate in conventions and take master classes. Company members have also performed at Disney World and have taken master classes at the legendary Broadway Dance Center in New York City. Tryouts are held in May each year for the following school year. |
